As soon as I get out of the vehicle I lock the doors. Force of habit so make it a habit I guess.

Here is something to think about a thief probably wanders in every neighborhood and through every parking lot simply pulling door handles and probably has never actually broken into a vehicle because someone like yourself has made his task not require this skill. I bet really sneaky ones steal what is inside and then close the door back all nice like.

I am a bit shocked that you have had more than one bad experience and still keep not locking the door.

Don't be a soft target.
