i did what you said, and tried again, however, the game crashed again, in the same area as before.
You cannot remove mods in the middle of a patrol/mission while at sea only when you are in the bunker.
You need to delete your current patrol saves and then use your bunker save to start the game again.
Before you load your bunker save update JSGME to TWOS patch 13.

to say that need to start a new campaign / mission if add or remove some mods the best option is to start a new campaign if u add or remove mods
