Haven't tried this myself, but taking a quick look;

C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name\My Documents\SH4\data\cfg\SaveGames\00000009

In that folder is a CareerTrack.upc file, open that with notepad. Look for the most likely line, such as;

PatrolStartDateTime=1941-12-10 06:00:00

Change that, save and exit, load the save game and see if it works.
