1. Alan Alda as Hawkeye Pierce
In the series M*A*S*H. The series featured fantastic writers and actors.

2. Woody Harrelson as Woody Boyd in the series Cheers

and also Nicholas Colosanto as Coach Ernie Pantusso
from the series Cheers as well.

Sadly,Nicholas Colasanto passed away in 1985. All 3 characters represent humor at it's best.
