Well, my new laptop arrived Thursday, I spent all Fri and most of today setting it up, getting Outlook configured and the PST file whittled down. Loaded my tools and programs (FTP, ClipTrakker, Image Composer, Front Page, Office, etc). Installed Classic Shell and dumped all those bloated tiles. Now I can ease back and enjoy. No more "Not Responding" errors, everything is nice and fast. I can even play some games with this one. Although I may have some trouble without a CD player....
I will find a way.
