I absolutely agree with you, but since planes are already a huge threat for my stile of gameplay I don' t really mind that aspect.
Anyway I then opted for a mod list made out of
RFB
RSRDC
Improved stock environment v.1
And a little skin mod that I made for myself, representing my most beloved ship, The USS Trout (ss-202)
Third time I get assigned to this sub

Once it was a salmon Class, then a Trench class and finally the actual Tambor Class, wich the real sub was in real life
