Real Nav questions
I recently purchased SH5 and have been reading tons of topics, mainly the pinned help topic, on setting up SH5. So far, I have TDWs generic file patcher, newUIs, TDWs Real Nav, and tevalys scripts. First of all, big thanks to TDW and all the other modders for what they have done for the game! I have 2 questions so far about the mods.
1) I cannot seem to get my navigator to get a celestial fix. When i ask him for it, it says unable due to being submerged, when i am surfaced. However, when the auto navigation script is running he manages to get a fix. I made sure to ask during night when the starts are visible, but no luck
2) Even though I have real navigation installed, as i was making my way towards a British harbor during the happy times campaign, i saw a red square contact on my map with the vector line coming out of it right off the coast. I didnt plot that and after a while it disappeared. Is this some error, or might have i not installed the mod properly. I did follow the instructions so im fairly sure i got it right
3) I know i said 2 but i just thought of this. In the generic file patcher there are fixes for the hydrophone, as i guess it was broken in SH5. However whenever i try to use it, submerged or surfaced, all i hear is engine noise in every direction. Even if the operator hears a contact and gives a bearing, when i take control and rotate the dial to the heading he gave i hear no change and its the same engine noise i hear in all directions
