Li Keqiang a few months a go announced to the NPC that the government were "declaring war" on pollution. Exactly what that means is anybody's guess, and we've heard anti-pollution rhetoric from the Chinese government before with little result, so I won't hold my breath. Unless I'm in Beijing of course.
