Each attack is different, The best attack is stacking values in your favor, sinking your targets and escaping. My attacks depend on the size of each group, number of escorts and what type. If it's a large convoy, I will submerge in front between the lead and flank escort and helm by bow to the lead always keeping a narrow profile, silent and deep and come up in the middle of the convoy able to shoot bow and stern torps at different lines.
