Sad news to hear, although 93 years is a very good run, indeed. One thing a lot of Avengers fans may not know is how Macnee fought very hard to restore the legacy of the series. While in his late seventies, he managed to sort out all manner of ownership claims and also defeated a lot of the pirates who were selling rather poor bootleg versions of the show.
