Although not around the world voyage yet a Favourite book of mine called "U-Boat Far From Home" by David Stevens. The epic voyage of U862 (IXD2) to Australia and New Zealand. Rumor has it some of the crew went inland one night in NZ and stole eggs and milked a farmers cow. That was never mention in the book though.
