Each time I start a new patrol, when I'm in the Office, "hovering" near the ceiling

, the first thing I do is go to the "UBOAT" desk on the right, open it and select my torpedo loadout. I can pick and choose between all of the types of torpedoes available at the time. The only prohibition I can recall is loading electric fish in the external spare storage tubes. IIRC, that doesn't cost me any renown or have any other drawbacks...certainly seems to be more simple than messing around with ".cfg" files.
