Still, the game itself is very satisifying. For example, in just about every town in there is a beggar whining about "My children are starving..." and so on. Most of the time I feel sorry for them, but then sometimes when I'm in a crappy mood their little one liners grate on my nerves.
In particular, last night I was feeling particularly sadistic. I just came into town and right on cue, way out of my view I hear "A coin, for an old man?" That really ticked me off, don't know why, bad day I guess. I played along, and gave him his 5 septims. Later, after I had finished my errands in town, night had fallen and I spotted the same beggar lingering near the gate. Sure enough, soon as I got close he spews the same line at me. At the point, I got really irritated. I took a quick glance around to see if any guards were in eyeshot. I backed into the shadows, slipped into stealth mode, pulled out my bow, knocked an arrow. I zoomed in a bit to make sure I didn't miss. I let that baby fly and she flew straight into his head and dropped him with one shot.
I lingered in the shadows for a few minutes, before I emerged from stealth mode. All clear. A guard comes mosying by. Sees the body "Oh g-gosh, are you alright?" I just stand there whistling. After the guard leaves, I promptly take back my 5 septims AND his shirt and pants and make my way out of town, my taste for murder and mayhem satisfied.
Now THAT, is a good game!
