having successfully penetrated the escort screen into a massive convoy, I spotted 2 Nelson Class Battleships, 2 Illustrious Class Fleet Carries, 1 Southampton Class Cruiser, at least one Large Oil Tanker and numerous other support craft and merchants.
I fired a spread at HMS Rodney, another at an Illustrious carrier before diving deep and attempting to outmaneuver the escorts.
The escorts were tenacious, they drove me to 275 meters before their final blows were dealt.
immensely frustrating.
GWX was released on 19 March 2006... since this date of infamy, i have enjoyed SH3 more so than any other subsim i have ever played.
I have also managed to survive about 18-20% of my careers since that date
Just the latest loss. I have three concurrent careers going at the moment.
