I can second the above post. Recently I was bombed by an airplane and my observation scope, attack scope, and hydrophone were entirely destroyed. On my way to dock and repair I chanced upon two lone ships in close formation at 5 knots. I approached on the surface at dusk at about 4 knots in 6 m/s winds and they never saw my wake or my approach. I fired at about 1500 m hitting the first with a two-torpedo salvo and finishing the second off with the deck gun.
