I am currently using Grossdeutscher Rundfunk with TWOS. I just checked in the files and it doesn't have an events folder or an events.ini.

All the sound files are in the main Grossdeutscher Rundfunk folders (1939 to 1943) so I assume that the files just play sequentially like the gramophone. I'm not sure a I don't speak German to tell if the news broadcasts are in order by date.

I had asked this question in another thread, http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=218215 when I was trying to work out if SH5 had program support for the events.ini structure like SH3/4 did.

The other day after installing TWOS, (Fantastic work BTW) I was on my way to Danzig once again after a new career start, listening the the BBC on the radio when to my surprise, a news flash interrupted the music with the British ultimatum for Germany to withdraw from Poland and then later with the Declaration of War, (so I finally had the answer regarding SH5 and the events.ini.)

I was quite chuffed about this and then BdU sent a message to confirm what I had heard!

I had replied in another thread about Carotio's radio mod as per the quote below but have not had any replies regarding this.

G'day All...

I jumped through the registering hoops and was accepted just a few weeks ago.

I was fortunate enough to download the Intercontinental Radio Pack because I think Carotio is closing down his site this month (February).

Maybe with Carotio's and Subsims permission, one of us members that have the mod may be able to upload it to Subsim so that it isn't lost to the community.

The problem is, that even compressed, the download is huge and consists of 57 separate packs of 100 Mb each!

It's a shame when sites such as Silenthuntermods.com have to close because of the lost information and rescources.

But it is understandable because of the cost and amount of work required to keep them up and running especially if it is a one man show.

So...all is not lost yet. We need to start moving towards making this great mod available to all.

Regards....Kev*
EDIT 2:

I think I digressed a bit from the original question.....I have the original Grossdeutscher Rundfunk and not the remixed version.....and yeah, #3 download is an invalid file. Not sure where you could get this file now...
