I think it's a feature.
I suspect it is hard-coded, and would take a code patch to change. While you might not always like the result (and sometimes I don't!), as a default I think it's probably better than the alternative. Doing nothing is the SH4 default, and it has led me into some gripping situations when I forgot what course I had previously set up. (Like one that headed straight back
toward the escort!)
Anyone else know a way to do this trick?
