I just checked, you can have everything checked(100%) and keep map contact updates on. it seems you CAN have your cake and eat it too :rotfl:
Turning the event camera on makes the realism 97% mind you, so keeping this on isn't a big deal if your still 'getting a feel' for SH3's quirks...
