Indeed, used to see the A-10s a lot flying out of Bentwaters, they were pretty awesome to see. I think the only two USAFE bases in the UK now are Mildenhall and Lakenheath and IIRC Mildenhall is running down now, which means the Ospreys will probably be leaving, which is a shame, been quite nice to see them passing through from time to time.
Bentwaters closing was a real sucker punch, especially since they'd only just finished upgrading the runway.

Still, Carolyn Grace flies
from Bentwaters now, and the Cold War Museum has been getting
a steady supply of aircraft to do up.
