A nice idea, but the amount work to do that sort of thing would be crazy. You'd need to rewrite SH3 to take the connection between games.

As far as anyone around here knows the SH3 team is no longer together and isn't related to this new game you're talking about.

I remember Spectrum Holobyte had the idea of interlocking games that would form a large "Electronic Battlefield". Falcon 3.0 and A-10 were the only two games released under this scheme. I don't think it worked very well.

Can you imagine though.... A module for fighters, a module for bombers, a module for subs, a module for surface fleet, a module for tanks and armour, a module for infantry... each one fully modelling their respective area, but all working in one coheisive, persistant game. It would have to be one awesome engine and would take about 20 years to write.
