Plus, Dippy is going on a national tour which will hopefully bring more traffic to the museum which contains a myraid of other dinosaur skeletons and artifacts. So while it'll be a shame not to see Dippy in the front lobby the next time I go there, it's not the end of the world...that already happened for Dippy.  |
That's a good way to think about it. It is not like they are throwing "Dippy" in the trash. Museums change their displays all the time. It is one good way to get repeat visitors.
