Your mistake was infecting your computer with a Norton product (unless it came pre-installed. In that case the following probably won't help since it is likely that the reinstall disc or restore method that came with your pc has norton built in). The only way to get rid of it is to reformat and reinstall windows, then I would suggest just using Microsoft Security Essentials, or if you need a ton of security and have money to spend I recommend ESET NOD32. Just remember that no antivirus can safegaurd against the user, watch your browsing habits.
