Mine has 8.1. You just click the Windows + D keys and it goes right to the old-style desktop.

While I've learned a couple of things (see above) I have no clue how to do that. I'll be running it with my mouse on the 28" screen after tomorrow. From there it should be easy.

Nor does mine. My old PC still runs, so I'm going to try to cross-download it using the internal drive from that machine. Soon enough I'll be bying a cheap external DVD drive so I can watch movies.
