BELAY That! The Napa River is best (right across from Mare Island). We (really) wouldn't wanna pollute the pristine DAN River with what's stickn' to the hull from foreign tankers illegally dumping their ballast in S. F. Bay.

Someone sure does good teakwork though; I just did the Catalina's so I know-sanding, disinfecting and 5 coats

I might have started a new career though as several other owners have approached me to do it for them...under the table too. A haul out & 91' vessel survey, $2500, and a long quay ain't cheap...but what a mancave now that I'm childfree! And as former artillerist reenactor, we'd have to upgrade slightly just to repel boarders off the treacherous Contra Costa coast: $2900...apiece ya need four at least just to look right!
