I also have a (very) low end computer, and reverting to stock sea floor and using 8km visibility the fps aren't that diferent from stock game, except in ports. The only piece of hardware that I could afford for the moment, and that makes a diference even on stock game was an audigy sound card , which improves my fts about 25%.
