- Fight desperate underdog battles against convoys escorted by radar-equipped destroyers and aircraft in 1943
- Take holiday trips with a type IX over the Equator far from troubles, just don't get sunstroke!
- Help Rommel inside the Mediterranean, you can sink some big warships there, if you're lucky to see one
- Hunt down those convoys to Russia in the seas of freezing winds and eternal nights or days of the far North
- Head for the far side of the world in a type IX with the Monsoon group and pursuit the enemy in the Indian Ocean.
- Take control of a Type XXI and do your best to turn the tide of the war
One of the best things about SH3 is that no matter how many times you have played it over and over again, each career and each hunting ground still has its own unique features and traits.
