I do not believe I have a sound card...I think its part of the mother board.
I did a dxdiag, found the sound tab, turned down hardware acceleration....Is this it?? |
You might also want to consider getting a sound card. The improvement from the onboard audio of 90% of the motherboards sold versus an actual sound card can be tremendous and it will reduce load on your CPU.
