Only three types of federal prisoners can get parole

1. If they committed their crimes prior to 1988. Conviction date does not apply.

2. If they committed their crime in Washington, DC regardless of date.

3. If they are Military prisoners.

There are isolated instances of Early Release from Federal Prison, but that is not the same as Parole.
