If you use NYGM, know this; it's hard. If you get set on by a warship, you better not go lightly. They're hard to shake. The game is also not an 'eye candy' sort of game. More attention is paid to the hazards of war, instead of the beauty of it's surroundings: though there are mods to improve the look of things. I suggest you try both and determine for yourself. That's really the only way you'll know for sure. It may require you uninstalling and reinstalling SH3. Some here know how to use multiple installations, and can help you on that.
