Since some members of the Mod community stole the original X-1 data to "investigate" saying stealing is OK for them, I do not believe that means every mod maker is also a thief.
I can tell you most of the ships I got in the first beta were not available anywhere at all and most still are not available.
Who did they steal them from??
Then when I would suggest something in the model was wrong and they fixed it, who did they steal the fix from?
Many effects I have seen for months were not available anywhere. I wonder if seeing screen shots of them from X-1 others could guess what they did and copied it?
One suggested the Mob36 DD and US carrier might be their work. I have their mod and I have X-1's. They are not the same files, dates or even file sizes and X-1 had them before they were released in the Mod community.
Well, stating that got an apology? No, the mod community has the right to make false claims because they do not profit so that makes it OK.
Some (most in the mod community are dedicated honest people) sound like Jesse Jackson or Swaggert who feel they have a right that others do not.
If you feel because of the conduct of the first Seawolves you can not support the next project, I understand completely.
But, when you support stealing and lying for the mod community as justified, I can not and will not accept that.
If someone questions a mod in Seawolves and it is shown that they did their own work, they deserve an apology.
How do I know that a mod in Seawolves is really their work when that mod is not available anywhere at all??? How stupid a question is that?
