the way he replied towards you was not very welcoming to a new member and let me assure you it is not representative of the way people are normally treated here. if someone gets out of line with you use the report post feature and the modderators will determine if we need to step in and resolve the situation.
the mod forum gets you the best help for mod related questions and this forum is intended for more general questions about the game itself unrelated to modding so often the modders don't read this forum as much.
all SH game versions have a general forum and mod forum to separate the two catagories and some have separate mission creation forum so you can get better help and faster help in most cases.
