We must do it someday, I'm all for it. However I think this is a bit premature. Lack of stimuli will be the highest mountain they will have to climb.
Frankly, I'm sceptical. I find the described conditions just shy of cruel.
As for the boring landscape, SH will be most helpful I'm sure.
