Thanks THEBERBSTER. If I would have come to SubSim, and particularly your post #4, I’d have gotten it right the first time.

After disabling mods, moving JSGME.exe into the games root folder, moving the mods folder, re-running JSGME.exe and re-enabling the mods, all is well. Thanks to you and BigWalleye,it’s like a whole new game!

As for the x86 program folder, I haven’t had to worry about that since turning off UAC. When W7 first came out I did want to keep UAC on and I was able to keep it for a while using the workarounds, one being to install programs outside of x86 program folder. However, with some of the tools used to create content for MS Flight Simulator, that was not an option. So I just turned UAC off. While I wasn’t able to take advantage of the protections that UAC offers, I figured I would still be as safe as previous OS...and to date I have not had any infections.
