Have you tried patching the SH3 executable with the 4gig patch?
MFM would not work on my machine either. Museum and career would cause CTD but as soon as i patched the executable it worked fine.
Just FYI the 4gig patch is not, as far as I know, a SH3 thing but rather something that was created for more general purposes.
