Ive been playing with the Spy_Sat mod for the last couple of patrols its good to have if you want to have a quick game as you will find alot of convoys to choose from, also watching there paths helps you to avoid places where there is no traffic when playing the game with top realism. Sometimes ive spent whole patrols with no tonnage and had to return to base because of low fuel
Oh yeah i could sink a escort or two but im talking about merchants. 1 or 2 patrols have been zero tonnage. Then I enabled the spy__sat and saw that the convoy's path was approx 200miles from where i was patroling. In other words i just missed them.
Of course though this is a cheat you will see all convoys on the map, plus taskforces
