I have played SH3 and SH4 for years but have not spent one second in SH5 as of yet. I am thinking about giving it a try. From what I see, there is not really Mega mods for SH5 like there were for SH3 (NYGM, GWX, ect.). Instead, there are "Mega Mods" for SH5 that are really just lists of individual mods that are known to work with each other with no CTDs (Sobers Mega Mod List, The Wolves of Steel Mod List, etc.). Please correct me if I am wrong about this.

My main question is if there is a so called "Mega Mod" list for SH5 that will give me the same level of realism or game play that is similar to what GWX gave me in SH3? I am looking for challenging game play that offers convoy attacks where escorts are a real threat, depth charge attacks that are truly damaging, night time attacks (at least in the early years) where I can actually attack on the surface, and game play that is not just about sinking a bunch of ships. Can I get the same level of realism in SH5 that I can get from a Mega Mod in SH3? If I can't, how close to this level of realism can I get in SH5 at the moment? Or, if I really want realism, am I just better off sticking with SH3?
