JEEZ! I KNEW that! My Amyloid plaque is Romen' around! Must have been thinking of the next disaster,#3 IMHO (after Cannae and Carrhae-25% escaped of 7 legions) : 9AD Teutoberger Wald; poor Varus did fall on his sword. RATS! Octavian, by now Augustus, was really pissed off about the three legions-totally wiped out...Rome never had a good German Policy after that!
