Actually, that'd be a good one to learn as part of training; I mean really- every one practices their 'Sully on the Thames' these days it's just an extra 'I can handle it bullet' in the cylinder in the 'what if game' of flight. An ad-hoc robotic deck pad to get under the 'blind' pilot, who cannot see the pillow under his nose, would seem a useful low budget permanent item on any carrier deck tool kit.
