I was pleasantly surprised to see the USA win, they played kinda sloppy all game, I was cheering loudly!

I am realistic though, while we may have world class players we are in a nasty bracket, and compared to Portugual and Germany, we have nothing.

But this win gives my boys a good chance of advancing. I gotta stay hopeful, it is upsetting when your own coach says the team sucks. I am thinking positive.

Not like the USA can win, but considering it is not popular here, I want to at least make for a respectable showing on the world stage. I think the rest of the world gives us a break, as we still use feet and inches, and call football soccer.

We aren't backwards. We got what I call obstinate pride.

I am calling bracket G.

Germany and the USA. Germany will beat Portugal, and we will tie Portugal. We will advance on luck, and barely squeaking by, but the ride is over next round. I am realistic.
