I gave up, I play in windowed mode atm without widescreen mod.
The monitor I have can't change the aspect ratio ( which is strange 'cos the monitor I had before had no problem with that ..... but the cat found it necessary to pee on it and ruined the screen
).
Gonna look for alternative monitor to play full screen.
