That was my thought, but you numbers like 70ct. Too.... These days I'd expect any group to use Zulu time as the common base, letting the receivers do the math for local time. Did the US or USN use Central Time as a common time base during WWII? Or was it Zulu / GMT?

In any case how would you read 70ct. 7am? Would 100ct. Be 10am? What would 10 pm be? 220ct? Would 10:30am be 105ct? Or 103 ct?
