I think we could trade some blows or even limited war with Russia without nukes getting thrown. I think the difficulty is we would have to limit ourselves to dealing with Russia in the nation they evaded without directly attacking their homeland. If Nato has to do this..Russia will back down and leave, but it won't be over the Ukraine..
