They're great guys to talk to.. so many stories and adventures.
A grand old 'friend' of ours died 2 years ago (90), lied about his age, was taken POW at Tobruk a few years later, escaped 3x but never got back.
His eyes always lit up when I talked about the 'dancing girls'
The wife and his 'partner' eyed us out suspiciously..
