Did you just take a huge steaming dump on
a lot of fantastic, addicting and satisfying games just because they,
intentionally, use old school graphic designs?
To put it frankly, I was extremely skeptical after your original post already.
After this post though, you distinguished the last spark of my confidence that you and your friends can pull off the above, especially since you didn't introduce yourself, your team and the skills available.
You basically present a huge project idea, you have nothing else but a very idealistic idea...
and then ask for advice?
