Hi! Sorry to bother you again. I know the previous thread was closed, and for very good reasons. I just wanted to tell you that my friend accepted your suggestion and bought a copy of the game.
He simply thought that the only method to avoid SF was to use the pirated copy and didn't know that the fix works even with the original. Thanx a lot for all the answers!
