You didn't crash dive did you? There are known issues with that. Also. In real life they found out it was a pretty stupid idea not to dive! So dive when you spot an aircraft!
There are graphics for that but I don't recall the names off hand.
That's what the escorts out of the harbors are for. Mines take no sides. And NO the crew won't tell you. Use the maps.
I don't recall adding to the bubble effects. Useing S3D you can remove the bubble nodes.

Thanks for the reply privateer, but

Regarding uncontrolled dives; what I really wanted to know was, if any of YOU had trouble with your sub having a pressure hull breach (that's what I call it) after being damaged (which again, always seems to happen after an air attack that causes damage). I just wanted to know if it's something caused by a mod, or if it is hard-coded. I just didn't like to have to quit a patrol and return home all because an enemy plane strafed my sub. Note that this issue can also happen while being shot by ships while surfaced, but that sort of attack inflicts much more damage, so it's understandable.

And no, I did not crash dive - please re-read my original post - if I am less than flank speed while being submerged, I sink like a stone.

Regarding 'use USD to remove bubble nodes' - I'm not sure what this is - could someone please explain?

Regarding crew maintenance background - I would most likely need the original background for stock SH III - I'm not sure the name of the file though.

Regarding mines - so I'm going to have to alt-tab out to check my harbor maps every time i wish to enter a harbor...in order to avoid mines? Kinda frustrating, but I guess in a way realistic. But I wish that *friendly* ports had the mine locations already marked on the world map, at least. That would be realistic as well as convenient.

Again, thanks in advance for any advice.
