Any push in the right direction would be appreciated. I'm 65 years old so please have a little mercy on me. I searched for some answers already but nothing is clear.

1) Install stock sh3. Do you have sh3 as CD/DVD or from steam?
2) GWX: Pay attention to the installation path! You have to install GWX into your SH3 folder but the path first given by the installation program isn't automatically always the correct one. That is especially true when using the
Steam version of SH3!!
Download GWX: (I suggest to get a torrent program like utorrent for the torrent download (it's usually faster), right side of the link !!)

3a) Install sh3 commander V3.2:

3b) After that install the offical sh3 cmd fix for GWX:
GWX3_SH3Commandercfg (right side of gwx downloads)

4) Get the newest version of JSGME from subsim/downloads! This program is there to easily manage your mods!
NOTE: GWX will automatically install an older version of JSGME with the GWX mod!
After you got the newer version of JSGME you unzip the content and copy all of it into your sh3 folder and over the older JSGME files.
(JSGME also comes with a readme file for further instructions! GWX manual page 23 "GWX OPTIONS")
