Is it dangerous? I know the path in to Oslo, Norway was nasty to get throu cause of underwater blockades. There was a small path only for the ships to sail throu, and was protected by cannons and torpedos.
The German ship Blychner(or however you spell the name) ended it days there with many thousands sailors while they where invading Norway.
But i am guessing the game does not include costal defenses and underwater mines and such. So if i am not wrong the only threat to us are enemy ships spotting us?

you mean the admiral hipper class Blücher? hit by 1 shell of a coastal defence in the bridge and then hit by 2 or 3 torps.
