That´s because the grafikcard has to do two jobs: your desktop for MAC OSX*** and your desktop for the virtuell machine. Twice workload but same resources -> slow.

Try to get WIN7 cheap and test it with your actual bootcamp. Or try to get a early version of bootcamp - my MacBookPro in 2007 had bootcamp for WIN XP (SP2 or later).
