About your problem:
I would test every mod in single an in all possible combinations.
Does your pc gets updates automaticly? Sometimes this is the reason fpr trouble.

And no, I am still using Win XP and all automatic stuff are turned off/forbidden/banished from my computer. I HATE it when any software thinks it can do anything on its own without my knowledge.
My config: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual 5000+ (2,6Ghz), 2Gb DDR2 RAM 800Mhz, Gigabyte Radeon HD6750 1Gb DDR3 videocard. Should be enough for any mods for Sh3... I'm only playing on 1024x768. never bigger resolution-no widescreen ever.
